As Vice President General Secretary at Danone UK & Ireland, Richard sits on the board of Danone UK & Ireland & leads a talented team responsible for Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, Sustainability, Social Impact, B Corp, Legal, Regulatory & Compliance. He is also the Managing Director of Harrogate Spring Water, a business with a rich heritage that joined Danone in February 2020.
During a career spanning over 30 years at Danone, including 25 years in Japan and South East Asia, Richard has held various commercial leadership & board positions.
Richard particularly enjoys working for a company that has a clear purpose, helping people to eat more healthily and working with partners and NGOs to encourage change in the wider food system. Richard also spearheads the Danone Impact Journey in the UK and Ireland. His current focus is on how we preserve and regenerate our planet and ensure we have a positive impact on our communities while serving patients and consumers with healthy food, beverage and medical nutrition solutions.
