WRAP at COP29

WRAP will be at COP29, sharing our bold vision for a circular future.

A future where Circular Living is commonplace, where we have changed from our current take-make-dispose approach to design-make-reuse, to radically reduce waste and carbon emissions from everyday products.

Following the COP28 UAE Declaration on Sustainable Agriculture, Resilient Food Systems, and Climate Action, we must build on this momentum and accelerate the transformation of our broken food system to meet SDG 12.3.

This is why WRAP has partnered with ReFED, the Global FoodBanking Network, and FareShare to co-host a series of food loss and waste sessions at the Blue Zone’s Action on Food Hub, featuring a cross-section of leaders and important actors across the food system.

“WRAP is encouraging more action from more countries – we need food loss and waste to be urgently prioritized in all plans for tackling climate change such as NDCs.”
