By giving commonly binned items a personality, Recycle Now helps people realise that more of the things they’ve been wasting can be recycled after all. They bring to life some of the most common “lost recyclables” by turning them into characters with their own personalities and voice. The campaign makes recycling fun and memorable, while cutting confusion about what can and can’t be recycled.
The campaign characters include:

The Rescue Me – Recycle Campaign Toolkit features all the characters in ready-to-go and editable digital and printed assets for you to use in your recycling and waste campaigns all-year round.
As part of WRAP’s Simpler Recycling Communications Toolkit, we’ve created templates that can, if preferred, incorporate the Rescue Me – Recycle characters and we’re providing access to the character files.
Please note: WRAP is the owner of these assets. The character files must not be altered or adapted in any way and should always be used alongside the Recycle Now Swoosh. They are provided for you to include in your recycling and campaign artwork but not to be edited.
