Experts in circular economy
Based at our headquarters in Banbury, Oxfordshire we have a team of specialists working across the food and drink sector, plastic packaging, clothing and textiles and on collections and waste recycling.
Working with local and central government
Our work in England is funded by the Defra (Department for Environment, Farming and Rural Affairs) and through signatories to our Business Voluntary Agreements.
We promote the role of waste prevention by encouraging businesses to recognise and act upon potential savings in being more efficient, preventing waste, carbon and water. And support both central governments and local authorities in their waste and recycling activities.
Much of WRAP’s work is evident in Government’s review of their Waste Prevention Programme for England which indicated that at least 387,000 tonnes of waste have been prevented in total since 2013 as a result of actions taken by organisations collaborating with the UK Government.
