Love Food Hate Waste Toolkit
Love Food Hate Waste has created a new toolkit for local authorities in the UK - and our international partners - designed to support you with your citizen facing communications about food waste prevention.
In this toolkit you’ll find the theory behind the development of our campaigns, insights, and a suite of engaging, ready-to-use assets which will help educate and motivate citizens around the world to reduce food waste by making the most of the food they buy. If we all do our bit, we can help encourage citizens to cut CO2 emissions while also saving them time and money.
Below you will find a link to the toolkit and the following assets to download and use to create your own 'Make your food go further' campaign:
- Videos for social media demonstrating simple behaviours to motivate citizens to make their food go further. There are 9 reel-style videos, each available in formats 1:1 and 9:16 and English and Welsh.
- Pre-written social media posts (in English and in Welsh) answering some of the most common areas of confusion around food waste prevention and accompanying images for each posts.
- Posters ready to put up around your offices or at external locations such as leisure centres and libraries. There are 4 designs, each available in English and in Welsh.
- Social media static assets to use across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. There are 4 designs, each available in English and in Welsh.
- A web banner to use on your website. One design, available in English and in Welsh.
- An easy-to-use guide if you would like to add your own branding to the assets.
