Convened by WRAP, the Food Pact Network brings together global leaders to tackle the challenges of food loss and waste and address its harmful environmental, social, and economic impacts worldwide.
Established in 2024, the Food Pact Network builds on the strong foundations of WRAP’s Food Waste Reduction Roadmap and the pioneering Courtauld Commitment 2030. By fostering collaboration and leveraging global expertise from supply chain businesses, NGOs, charities, and citizen initiatives, we’re creating innovative solutions to support the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 12.3 and halve global food waste by 2030 by working together.
How the Food Pact Network model works
The Food Pact Network connects local initiatives with a global community committed to reducing food loss and waste. Members benefit from cross-border partnerships, collaborative opportunities and expert insights to implement evidence-based actions in their regions.
WRAP offers two partnership pathways to join the Food Pact Network:
- Food Loss and Waste Hub: Focused on operational and supply chain initiatives
- Household Food Waste Hub: Dedicated to citizen behaviour change.
Food Loss and Waste Hub
The Food Loss and Waste Hub connects private and public sector organisations working to reduce food loss and waste across operations and supply chains.
Partners access knowledge sharing and networking that is facilitated by WRAP, enabling them to scale their efforts and impact on food waste reduction. This includes bi-monthly online meetings, annual in-person workshops, a digital resource platform and international profile-raising collaboration.
