A ground-breaking, industry-wide roadmap and toolkit
The Food Waste Reduction Roadmap is the leading free access initiative for UK food businesses, developed by industry in collaboration with WRAP and the IGD.
Signing up to the Roadmap is how UK businesses demonstrate their commitment to delivering the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 12.3 to halve food waste by 2030.
Why sign up to the Food Waste Reduction Roadmap?
Hundreds of UK food and drink businesses have already committed to the Food Waste Reduction Roadmap, including major brands and retailers, and many leading food service, hospitality, manufacturing and producer businesses (see below ‘Who has signed up?).
- Measure and report with guidance and templates used widely by UK industry since 2018
- Report once annually with options to share data with participating customers
- Approach supported by Defra and all the UK’s Devolved Administrations
- Aligned with the International Food Loss & Waste Standard
