The UK Plastics Pact is transforming the way that the UK makes, uses and disposes of plastic.
Over halfway to our 2025 targets, the Roadmap sets out the specific milestones and activities which are critical if we are to achieve our goals in the years remaining.

It includes specific roadmaps for recyclable and compostable plastic packaging as well as a reuse and refill roadmap under Target 2.
It details the key activities and member actions needed by the end of 2022, 2023. 2024 and 2025

The UK Plastics Pact targets
- Eliminate problematic or unnecessary single-use packaging through redesign, innovation or alternative (reuse) delivery model.
- 100% of plastics packaging to be reusable, recyclable or compostable
- 70% of plastics packaging effectively recycled or composted
- 30% average recycled content across all plastic packaging.

We develop partnerships that deliver change in those countries where the need is greatest. We work with in country partners so that each Pact is set up to deliver impact.
