What is the Textiles Action Network?
WRAP’s Textiles Action Network unites national and regional textiles initiatives worldwide to exchange knowledge, share best practice, and work collectively to put the textiles industry on a trajectory to achieve net zero carbon emissions through the transition to a circular economy.
Priority action areas
Members of the Network are reshaping the production, consumption, and disposal of textiles, by supporting their stakeholders to:
- Increase the proportion of reused textiles sold versus new
- Design and make circular textile products
- Use recycled fibres in the production of new textile products
- Measure and evaluate environmental, social and economic benefit.
Who’s part of the Network?

Progress and impact
Textiles Action Network: Blueprint for Action
The Blueprint sets out the building blocks needed to design and implement a circular textiles initiative, providing a replicable model within which countries can create their own measurable national targets and action plans, aligned with internationally recognised objectives.

Knowledge exchange through events and meetings
In 2023, convenors of the Danish Industry Collaboration attended Textiles 2030's annual member event to learn from UK businesses and identify transferable approaches that could be implemented within their own membership. WRAP has also shared resources from Textiles 2030 at events in Denmark and Switzerland, supporting global progress toward a circular textiles economy.
